Locks by LouLou was born from a dream to bring exceptional hair care and beauty to Dubai. Founded in 2014 by Kirsty (Lou), the salon has flourished over the past decade, becoming a beloved haven for style and self-expression. Originally from London, Lou moved to Dubai at 27, working her way up in the local beauty industry before taking a bold leap at just 29 to open her own salon. Inspired by the tale of Goldilocks, the name “Locks by LouLou” reflects Lou’s belief that beauty is about finding what feels “just right” for each person.
With an established reputation as a highly skilled stylist in the UK, Lou’s passion for hair extensions and color quickly gained her a celebrity clientele. Her exceptional work has led to numerous accolades, including the prestigious Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year in 2022 and 2023 and Lash Technician of the Year in 2024. Lou’s dedication to her craft and commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the salon, from her specialized training in extensions and color techniques to the high standards she upholds for her team.
